 Mushroom Masala/ காளான் மசாலா 


Ingredients :

Mushroom - 250gm (1box) 

Coconut oil - 3tbsp

Cinnamon - 1stick 

Onion - 1 (big,  finely chopped) 

Tomato - 1 (big,  finely chopped)

Green chilly - 2

Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp

Kashmiri chilly powder - 1tsp

Red chilly powder - 1tbsp

Corriander powder - 1/2tbp

Sakthi chicken masala - 1tsp

Salt - as you need 

Curry leaves - 1 sprig 

Corriander leaves - for garnish


Method :


🍄 Wash the mushroom and clean the outer side thoroughly,  and cut them vertically (I cut into small pieces) 


🍄 Place a kadaai add oil and add cinnamon & add finely chopped onion saute well till its transulcent 


🍄 Now add Ginger garlic paste and saute untill the raw smell goes away, and add the finely chopped tomato and saute untill tomato get mushy 


🍄Add the fresh mushroom and saute well, (don't add any water mushroom will release excess water)  


🍄Then add salt & spices powder red chilly powder, Kashmiri chilly powder,corriander powder,  chicken masala and mix it well with mushroom 


🍄 Keep the flame in medium, the oil will separate from masalas 


🍄 Finally garnish with curry leaves and corriander leaves 



Notes :


* Always use fresh mushroom, it will be good only 2 days 


* I used Kashmiri chilly powder because of colour,  you can avoid if you don't want


* You can use any oil, I prefer coconut oil for good taste
