Ingredients - 1


Chana dhall - 1/2cup

Dry red chilly - 2

Fennel seeds - 1/4tsp

Salt - 1/4 tsp


Ingredients -2


Oil - 2tbsp

Cinnamon - 1 inch

Cardamom -3

Cloves - 3

Fennel seeds - 1/4tsp

Onion - 1 (finely chopped) 

Tomato - 1 (big, finely chopped) 

Ginger garlic paste - 1/2tsp

Chilly powder - 2tsp

Corriander powder - 1tsp

Curry leaves - 1sprig 

Corriander leaves - 2tbsp 

Water - 1/2cup


Ingredients -3 


Grated coconut - 3tbsp

Water - 1/4cup (warm water) 


Method :


🌶 Soak the Chana dal for 1hour and strain the water and add into the mixer jar, also add the red chilly, fennel seeds add little water grind it to coarse consistency 


🌶 Now take the grinded Chana dal batter and make adai in dosa tawa, (add little extra oil)  wait for 5mins and turn into another side and break them into small pieces & keep aside



🌶 Take a kadai add oil and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and fennel seeds, let it temper 


🌶Add onion and let it transulcent, now add the curry and gg paste and saute for 2mins, after that add chilly powder, corriander powder, and give a quick mix, 


🌶 Add the finely chopped tomato and let it become soft and mushy 


🌶 Now pour 1/2 cup water,  meanwhile grind the coconut paste and strain the coconut milk and add 


🌶 Once it's start boiling add the broken masala Vadais and mix it well


🌶 Wait till the water will observe 75% and finally garnish with corriander leaves 


🌶Serve with hot idlies
