 Maavilakku maavu



Ingredients 

Raw rice - 1cup 

Jaggery - 1 atchu 

Fried gram / Pottukadalai - 1tbsp

Ghee - 2tsp


Method :


▶️ Wash the rice and soak for 1hour, 

After that just strain the water and dry them in cotton towel for 30 minutes 


▶️ It will be slightly moist only, grind them in mixer jar and seive it 


▶️Add the fried gram to the flour


▶️Take a sauce pan and add the Jaggery and 1tsp water, let it melt 


▶️Add the Jaggery syrup to the flour and add the ghee on the plate & make a shape, put a whole on centre with your thumb finger..


Notes :

✴️Don't add more water in Jaggery then you can't the proper shape 


✴️You can use Jaggery powder and add in the mixer jar along with rice flour


✴️I used atchu vellam,  you can use urundai vellam 


✴️I have added 2maavu karandi Jaggery syrup... It's depends upon your vellam
