Chepangkizhangu/Arbi Roast
Ingredients
Chepangkizhangu - 4 (big size)
Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
Kashmiri chilly powder - 1tbsp
Corriander powder - 1tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2tsp
Rice flour - 1tbsp
Salt - 1tsp
Curry leaves - 1sprig (finely chopped)
Oil - 4tbsp
Method
🔹First take 2cup water and cook the kizhangu for 15minutes
🔹Once it's cooked peel of the skin and cut into round shape
🔹Now mix all masala powder,Rice flour, salt, curry leaves together and add the kizhangu & marinate with masala
🔹Take non stick pan, first add 4tbsp oil & add the marinated kizhangu and let it cook for 3-5mins and turn it back and cook for another 3minutes in medium flame.
🔹Serve hot with rasam, Sambar rice
Note :
** Don't over cook the kizhangu, (for me it took 15minutes ) it will be mushy
** You can also deep fry it
** Always fry batch wise, do not put over crowded at the same time
