Mathi fry/Sardine fry
Ingredients :
Mathi fish - 6 pieces (cleaned)
Shallots - 4
Turmeric powder -1/4tsp
Chilly powder - 1tsp
Corriander powder - 1tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2tsp
Sombu podi-1/4tsp
Fenugreek powder -1/4tsp
Pepper - 1/2tsp
Rice flour - 1tsp
Salt - 1tsp
Oil - for frying
Method :
▪️Clean the fish and put 4-5 gashes on both sides
▪️Take a mixer jar and add shallots and other ingredients and make a fine paste
▪️Apply the grounded paste on the fish and leave for 30mins
▪️Now take a wide fry pan and add oil (not too much) and place the chicken carefully and cook for 10mins, turn it back on another side cook for another 10-15mins
▪️Serve the fish with hot Sambar rice, rasam rice
