Coconut Sambol



Ingredients

Fresh coconut - 1cup (grated)

Chilly powder - 1.5tsp

Salt - as you need

For tempering

Oil - 1tsp

Mustard seed - 1/4tsp

Urad dhall - 1/2tsp

Shallots - 10 (length wise)

Curry leaves - 1sprig

Method

🔹Take mortar/Ural and add fresh coconut, chilly powder,salt and pound everything together and keep aside

🔹Add oil in a pan add mustard seeds and urad dhall let it temper, now add the shallots, curry leaves & saute it

🔹Now add the coconut and fry it

🔹Serve with chapathi,roti,appam and idiyappam

Notes :

** You can skip the sauting procedure

** while making the coconut mixture you can also add the onions together and serve it without frying

** You can also add the dry fish powder (massi in Srilanka) since i  don't have I didn't add..
