Saamai Rice /Little millet Pongal
🔺Recipe 🔺
Saamai Rice - 1cup
Moong dhall - 1/2cup
Pepper- 1tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ghee- 3tbsp
Cashew - 10
Curry leaves - 6
Water - 4
Method :
🔹First dry roast the Moong dhall and keep a side
🔹Wash the rice and soak for 20 minutes
🔹Take pressure cooker and add rice and dhall,add 4 cups of water & close the lid and wait for 4 whistle
🔹Meanwhile, in a pan add ghee,pepper,cumin seeds, cashew and curry leaves and fry them
🔹Once pressure done mash well.. Then add the ghee mixture and mix well.. 🔹Serve with Sambar or coconut chutney
