Carrot Halwa / Gajar Ka Halwa




Ingredients

Carrot - 4 large (grated)
Milk - 2cups
Sugar - 3/4 -1cup
Ghee -3.5tbsp
Cashew - 1tbsp.
Almond-1/2tbsp

Method :

🔸Take heavy bottomed pan add 1tsp of ghee and add the grated carrot and saute for 10mins till the raw smell goes off

🔸Now pour the milk and cook well.. The milk should be absorbed by carrot

🔸Then add the sugar and continue to cook till little dry

🔸Finally add the chopped nuts

Notes


🔹I used lengthy & large size of carrots..  Approximately 3cups

🔹You can add the nuts by directly else roast them in ghee
