Aatukaal Soup/Mutton Leg Soup
Gingely Oil-1tbsp
Small onion -4 (crushed)
Tomato - half (roughly chopped)
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - 3
Cumin seeds - 1/4tsp
Whole pepper - 2tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4tsp
Chilly powder -1/2tsp
Water - 1.5 cups
Salt - as you need
Corriander leaves - for garnish
Method :
🔹First wash the mutton with running water and keep aside
🔹Take pressure cooker and add Gingely oil and add cumin seeds, pepper and saute for a min
🔹Now add onion, tomato and saute well then add crushed ginger garlic and cook for 2mins
🔹Then add the mutton leg and add turmeric powder and chilly powder , salt & pour 1.5cups water mix well
🔹Now close the pressure cooker with lid and wait for 6 -7 whistle
🔹Once pressure done open the lid & garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves
Note :
🔸Adding Gingely oil will give nice flavour to the soup
🔸 Adjust the spice level as per your choice
